Dashboard Design

Overview

ToChart provides dashboard design functionality, allowing you to combine multiple charts into a unified visual dashboard. Dashboards let you intuitively display multiple related metrics for data analysis and decision-making.

Dashboard Design Workflow

1. Create a Dashboard

  1. Click the “Dashboard Designer” icon in the left navigation bar
  2. Click “New Dashboard” in the Resource Explorer
  3. Enter a dashboard name
  4. Click “OK” to create the dashboard

2. Add Charts

  • Drag existing charts from the Resource Explorer to the main editor area
  • Or click “New Chart” to create a new chart

3. Configure Layout

ToChart provides flexible layout configuration options:

  • Drag components to adjust position
  • Drag component borders to resize

4. Preview and Save

  • Real-time Preview: Preview dashboard effects during design
  • Save Dashboard: Click “Save” in the top toolbar to save your design
  • Preview Window: Click “Preview” in the top toolbar to open an independent preview window
  • Export Image: Click “Export” in the top toolbar to export the dashboard as PNG

  • Clear Hierarchy: Place important charts in prominent positions
  • Logical Organization: Organize charts by business logic
