Installation Guide

System Requirements

ToChart supports the following operating systems:

  • Windows: Windows 10 and above
  • macOS: Mainstream macOS versions
  • Linux: Major Linux distributions such as Ubuntu 18.04+, CentOS 7+, etc.

Hardware Requirements

  • Processor: Intel Core i3 or equivalent
  • Memory: At least 4GB RAM
  • Storage: At least 500MB free space
  • Display: 1024x768 resolution or higher

Installation

Visit the ToChart official website to download the installation package for your operating system:

  • Windows: .exe installer
  • macOS: .dmg disk image
  • Linux: .deb or .rpm package

After downloading, follow the prompts to install.

Application Won’t Start

  • Check system requirements

Database Connection Failed

  • Verify the database server is running
  • Check connection credentials
  • Ensure firewall allows the application to access database ports

Oracle 11g Connection Issues (Windows)

Oracle 11.2 (11g) requires Thick mode. Install 64-bit Oracle Instant Client and set the environment variable TOCHART_ORACLE_CLIENT_DIR to the directory containing oci.dll before launching ToChart, then restart the application.

Chart Display Issues

  • Check data format
  • Try refreshing the chart or reloading the application
  • Check console logs for detailed error information
